The IntelliJ IDEA 2022.3 RC preview release is now available. In the previous 2022.3 EAP 5 release, IntelliJ IDEA was adding support for Windows ARM64 and is now being tested to ensure that IntelliJ IDEA runs smoothly on Windows devices loaded with ARM64 processors. Also, with IntelliJ IDEA 2022.3 EAP 5, IntelliJ has begun distributing installers for Windows ARM64.
Beta 2 is now available for Linux devices with ARM64 processors. There are also improvements to Kotlin’s IDE performance, support for Kotlin 1.7.20, and updates to the new Settings Sync plugin.
Other updates include a new IDE UI available through settings, the option to dock the tools window on the floating editor tab, and an improved “search anywhere” user experience.
