Intel Launches First AI PC Acceleration Program, Aims to Deliver AI Features to PCs

Intel recently announced during the “Intel on Technology Innovation Conference” that it has officially launched its first AI PC acceleration program. The plan will bring AI features to more than 1 million PCs by 2025, spearheaded by Intel Core Ultra processors scheduled for release on December 14.

According to reports, this is a global innovation action plan to accelerate the development of AI in the client computing industry. The program aims to connect independent software and hardware suppliers and make full use of Intel’s resources in AI tool chains, collaborative co-creation, hardware, and technical experience to maximize the performance of AI and machine learning applications.

In terms of details, Intel announced that through in-depth cooperation with more than 100 independent software vendor partners, Intel will integrate more than 300 AI acceleration functions to continue to enhance the PC experience in aspects such as audio effects, content creation, games, security, live broadcast, and video collaboration. . Officials stated that these independent software vendors include Adobe, BlackMagic (Note: Developer of the video production software DaVinci Resolve), Topaz, Wondershare Filmora (Wondershare Technology), Zoom, etc.

According to previous reports, Qunzhi Consulting released a study earlier this month saying that with the release of AI CPU and Windows 12, next year will be the first year for large-scale shipments of AI PCs. It is expected that global AI PC shipments will be Shipment volume reached approximately 13 million units.

Then in 2025-2026, AI PC shipments will continue to maintain an annual growth rate of more than double digits and become a mainstream PC product type in 2027. The above prediction also means that the global PC industry will “steadily enter” the AI era in the next five years.
