The Intel i9-13980HX processor’s high main frequency has an impact on League of Legends’ frame rate.
According to the official description, the test used the i9-13980HX flagship processor with the RTX4080 graphics card and 32GB of RAM. The League of Legends test was conducted at a resolution of 2k at the highest quality. The comparison between the i9-13980HX’s 5.6GHz RWD frequency and 4GHz lockup on the game’s frame rate was tested.
The test found that League of Legends can reach about 390fps at 5.6GHz, which is about 50fps higher than at 4GHz. This also illustrates the sensitivity of high frame rate games like League of Legends to CPU frequency.
Currently, the top-end gaming notebooks on the market are equipped with the i9-13980HX processor, which has 8 large cores and 16 small cores, with a core frequency of 5.6GHz.
