Intel’s upcoming new generation Raptor Lake Refresh flagship processor i9-14900K will be equipped with 8 P cores and 16 E cores, for a total of 24 cores and 32 threads.
The KF version of this processor has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, clocking up to 6 GHz when using Thermal Velocity Boost technology.
This test is based on the ASRock Z790 Taichi motherboard and 32GB DDR5-7000 memory. The single-core score ranges from 3322 to 3347 points, and the multi-core score ranges from 22895 to 23051 points. Additionally, there is a Geekbench 5 result that shows a single-core performance score of 2412 points and a multi-core performance score of 26972 points.
Simply put, the Core i9-14900KF multi-threaded performance is about 5-6% better than the i9-13900K, and there is at least a 12% improvement in single-core performance.

According to reports, the Core 14th generation desktop processor model in the picture above is based on the QS sample and may be different from the official version. The i5-14400 in the picture may have a B0 version with 6 large cores + 4 small cores or 6 large cores. + C0 version with 8 small cores.
Overall, the Core 14th generation desktop processor is an increased frequency version of the 13th generation.
