The running scores of two rendering applications of the Intel Core i9-14900K “Raptor Lake Refresh” processor were exposed. Compared with the previous generation 13900K, there was a slight improvement.
In the Blender Benchmark v3.6 benchmark test, the median score of the Intel Core i9-14900K was 559.86 points, which was 6% higher than the Core i9-13900KS, but slightly lower than the main improvement in the performance of the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor. The factor is the added 200MHz clock frequency.
In the V-Ray 5 benchmark, the Intel Core i9-14900K averaged a score of 27,790 points in a single benchmark, 5% higher than the Raptor Lake Core i9-13900KS, which scored 26,593 points.
Note: In terms of specifications, the Intel Core i9-14900K CPU adopts an 8+16 24-core design with 32 threads, a maximum Smart Cache of 36MB, and a basic TDP of 125W (253W PL2).
The Core i9-14900K CPU base clock frequency is 3.2GHz and the Turbo frequency is 6.0GHz, which is 200MHz higher than the Core i9-13900K and the same as the Core i9-13900KS.
