Intel Core i9-13900KS flagship processor is expected to be released in the near future, before the product launch, Intel officially released a demo video to prove its out-of-the-box 6GHz high frequency.
As can be seen from the video, Intel technical marketing engineer Jason Xie demonstrated the upcoming processor with an Asus Z790 commercial motherboard and Corsair integrated water cooling. Although the specific model of the processor was not mentioned, it is known as the i9-13900KS.
Under full core load, the frequency on the p big core is 5.6 GHz, and the frequency on the e small core is 4.3 GHz. Without any modification, the two p cores can reach up to 6GHz, but the frequency has not always been maintained at this level. Jason explained that the frequency will depend on many factors such as power calculations, heat or the software itself.
According to the latest exposure information, Intel Core i9-13900KS has 24 cores and 32 threads, (8 large cores + 16 small cores), 32MB L3 cache, the main frequency of the large core reaches 3.2GHz, and the highest turbo frequency under Intel’s TVB overclocking technology Up to 6GHz, 200MHz higher than i9-13900K. In addition, the basic power consumption of the i9-13900KS has also increased, reaching 150W, which is 25W higher than that of the i9-13900K, and the highest turbo frequency power consumption is 253W.
