Intel Certification Specifications for Evo Platform, Supports Multi-Device Collaboration Technology

Intel with the release of the 13th generation Core mobile processors, Intel has now announced a new certification specification for the Evo platform.

According to the introduction, through the Intel Evo laptop specification, Intel continues to raise the bar for laptops and other mobile devices. Under its new specification, Intel Evo laptops powered by 13th-generation Intel Core processors deliver three key experiences.

  • Uncompromising mobile performance: Ensure excellent responsiveness even when unplugged, improved real-world application endurance, instant wake-up, and fast charging.
  • Smart collaboration: Deliver a better video conferencing experience with technologies such as the Intel Connectivity Performance Suite and Intel Bluetooth low-power audio.
  • Support for Intel Multi-Device Collaboration (Intel Unison): provides a seamlessly connected multi-device experience with support for SMS, calls, phone notifications, and file transfers between Android or iOS phones and PCs.

Intel also said that the Intel Evo laptop experience has long been more than just the PC space and that the Engineered for Intel Evo program extends rigorous certification and industry co-design to accessory partners. In addition to existing Thunderbolt 4 docking stations, displays, storage and wireless headsets, a number of industry partners have contributed new accessories such as mice, keyboards and access points to the program.
