Intel 13 generation Core processor lineup full exposure: excellent performance price is the biggest suspense

According to previous news, Intel is expected to release a new generation of Raptor Lake desktop processors in the early hours of September 28th Beijing time, a few days ago is also a foreign media gave a very detailed exposure of the news.

Mainstream to flagship 14 SKU exposure

Core i9 has a total of 4 SKUs, they are equipped with 8 performance cores and 16 energy-efficient cores, a total of 24 cores and 32 threads, up to 5.8GHz, full-core core (performance core) up to 5.5GHz, 36MB of tertiary cache, 125W of base power consumption.

The KF version has no core graphics and does not support ECC memory.

The Core i9-13900 does not support overclocking, but the base power consumption is reduced to 65W, the maximum RWD is lowered to 5.6GHz, the full-core RWD (performance core) can reach 5.3GHz, and other parameters are not too different.

Core i7 is also four models, all equipped with 8 performance cores and 8 energy-efficient cores, 16 cores and 24 threads, 30MB Level 3 cache, Core i7-13700K/KF can reach a maximum of 5.4GHz, with a full-core core (performance core) of 5.3GHz and 125W base power consumption, the difference is that the KF version does not have nuclear display and does not support ECC memory.

The Core i7-13700 has been lowered to a maximum of 5.2GHz, a full-core core (performance core) of 5.1GHz, and a base power consumption of 65W. The F version has no core display and does not support ECC memory.

Core i5-13600K/KF is equipped with 6 performance cores and 8 energy-efficient cores, 14 cores and 20 threads, up to 5.1GHz, 5.1GHz full core (performance core), 24MB Level 3 cache, 125W base power consumption, no core display in KF version, and no support for ECC memory.

Also included in the Core i5 SKU is the Core i5-13400/13400F, which has 6 performance cores and 4 energy-efficient cores, 10 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum fury of 4.6GHz and 20MB of Level 3 cache.

As an iteration of the previous generation of installed U, it should be a “vest” U, but compared to the Core i5-12400, the new energy-efficient cores, increase the RWD rate and three cache, comprehensive performance will still be upgraded.

There are also two low-power models with T, which are generally used in all-in-one computers or small hosts.

Core i9-13900T and Core i7-13700 in the number of cores and other parameters and other versions are no different, but the frequency is lower, the former up to 5.3GHz, the latter 4.9GHz, the base power consumption is only 35W.

It is worth mentioning that, compared with AMD’s Raider 7000 series, which only supports DDR5 memory, the 14 SKUs revealed this time all support DDR memory and DD5 memory.

And in addition to Core i5-13400/13400F outside the highest support 4800MHz memory, the rest of the models support up to 5600MHz DDR5 memory, which means that many of the upgrade from the 12th generation of 13 generation of partners still do not have to replace the motherboard and memory.

Officially released at the end of the month Pricing may encounter problems

As mentioned at the beginning, Intel is expected to release the 13th generation Core at the end of this month, and the first models include Core i9/i7/i5 with K version, they are basically the same as the Rex 7000 series just released those products, they will be officially released on the 27th of this month.

I have to say that this date is chosen very coincidentally, while the official sale, while the official release, which is undoubtedly to Intel is not a small pressure.

According to a foreign source, Intel has indeed encountered a dilemma in pricing. He said that the Core i9-13900K has a great performance and is indeed able to fight with the Rex 9 7950X.

However, a source inside Intel revealed that the pricing of this generation is 5-30% higher compared to Alder Lake when it was released.

However, the price of this generation of Rex 7000 series is not only not increased, and some models are even lower, which is more aggressive than Intel expected.

So, if the above news is true, Intel will need to reconsider the pricing of the new generation of desktop processors to protect the competitiveness of the new products in the showdown with the Raron 7000 series.
