Microsoft recently released a technical bulletin, announcing that it has adjusted the process of importing updates from Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
Microsoft said it has deprecated the traditional ActiveX method, and users now need to import updates through PowerShell scripts.
Microsoft recommends that IT administrators regularly update devices to help better protect devices within an organization. Users can find new PowerShell scripts on the WSUS and Microsoft Update Catalog pages. It is learned from the announcement that the new version of the PowerShell script not only simplifies the process of importing updates, but also applies to importing multiple updates at the same time.
