In the past CES 2023, there are some interesting niche products that gained a lot of people’s attention, such as this VR headset called Sol Reader.
The headset is unique in that it uses an E-ink ink screen, so users can wear it on their heads and use it as a VR e-book, which looks more like a pair of glasses.
The Sol Reader features a dual-eye ink screen display, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, and a USB-C port for charging the device. Thanks to its unique display and single feature, it has a 30-hour battery life, far exceeding other VR headsets, and weighs just 113 grams.
Sol eReader will retail for $350 (currently about RMB 2,370) and will be available in the fall of 2023.
