Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, launched its first electric motorcycle Hero Vida V1 to the world, hoping to catch the wave of clean mobility.
The Hero Vida V1 Plus is 145,000 rupees (about 12,557 RMB), while the V1 Pro is 159,000 rupees (about 13,769 RMB).
The car has a huge square touchscreen that replaces the dashboard and looks modern.
Hero claims it’s a “smartphone on wheels” and promises “no trouble on the go”.
According to reports, the touch screen used in this motorcycle is 7 inches in size, which is comparable to its competitors such as the Ola S1 series and Ather 450X. In addition, Vida V1 also supports cruise mode and keyless functions.
The Vida V1 Pro can travel 165 kilometers (IDC) on a single charge while accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
The Vida V1 Plus promises a range of 143 kilometers (IDC) on a single charge while sprinting from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
The top speed of the two models is capped at 80 km/h. Additionally, both the V1 Pro and V1 Plus can be charged at 1.2 km/min.
