For iPhone users, iMessage has become one of their most price possession. Blue bubbles have become a notable feature in their lives, and iOS 16 promises to make the iMessage experience even better. The iOS 16 update will be coming at the WWDC event, which will kick off in a few days.

Already we have some information as to what to expect from the iOS 16 update coming to iPhones. In a Bloomberg report, Mark Gurman gave away a list of what we should expect from the coming update. Among the features to expect are iMessage getting more social media functions, always on display, along with others.

Building iMessage into a more “social media like” application might entail a few things. In his Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman didn’t delve into details as to what is coming to Apple’s Messaging application and what is not. But in comparison with other messaging social media applications, we can pinpoint a few features that’ll spice up iMessage. Such features like stories, active status, and so much more.

According to Mark, another notable feature coming to iPhones with iOS 16 is the always-on feature. Although this has long been in existence with Android devices, it’d be lovely to see it on iPhones. These will be amazing features to see on the iPhone coming update, we hope they get announced in a few days at WWDC22.
