IKEA has reportedly launched BETTORP, an LED moving light with a wireless charging base. The light’s 11 x 3-inch (about 28 x 8 cm) base is powered by a power source and has three areas: two charging pads and a third space for the light or for placing small items such as headphones or jewelry.

By using the charging mat, users can simultaneously charge two Qi-compatible devices such as the iPhone 8 or Samsung Galaxy S6 and newer models with up to 5 W. An LED light next to each mat then indicates whether it is charging.

Since the 9-inch (about 23 cm) tall battery-powered light can be removed from the base, it is portable. If a rechargeable battery is used the gadget can be charged via the wireless charging pad. 2700K warm white light has a maximum brightness of 150 lumens, and users can dim the light to meet their needs with strong, medium and ambient modes. Users can select the light settings through the light’s unique button, which is also known to be a power switch.

IKEA said the LED bulb’s energy consumption is 85% lower than traditional bulbs, and its service life is 20 times that of traditional bulbs. The company said that if used 3 hours a day this light can last for 20 years. Now, consumers can buy IKEA BETTORP light at a price of $59.99. The device is said to be gray-blue and contains at least 20 percent recyclable ABS plastic.
