iFixit today shared a disassembly video of Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9, and found no surprises.
iFixit confirmed that the Apple Watch Ultra 2 has a 564 mAh battery, which is about 4% larger than the original Apple Watch Ultra’s 542 mAh battery, but Apple said both models have the same battery life of 36 hours.

iFixit also confirmed that the battery capacity of the 41mm Series 9 is 282mAh, which is exactly the same as the Series 8. Additionally, iFixit didn’t find any hardware changes related to the new double-tap gesture in watchOS 10.1.
Overall, the internal designs of Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Series 9 are basically identical to the original Ultra and Series 8.
