Ideal Auto released a statement announcing the upgrade of the Ideal L9 air spring warranty program. Ideal Auto said that a store test car of the Ideal L9 recently impacted a large pothole in the road at high speed, causing damage to the right front air spring leak, which brought users doubts about the quality and durability of the air spring.
RISO Auto said that out of confidence in the quality of the product and in order to dispel users’ concerns about the air springs, it decided to raise the warranty program for the air springs (including the air spring body, air pump and air storage tank) of the RISO L9 to the same 8 years or 160,000 km as that of the three electric systems, and the used car transaction does not affect the validity of the warranty.
Earlier today, RISO responded to the “RISO L9 test car air suspension breakage” issue, saying that because of the supply problem, RISO had some test cars using the cushion ring in the trial production stage. Although the prototype version meets the safety standards, it will occasionally fail when encountering large impact conditions. The actual production version of the cushion ring is 2.5 times stronger than the prototype version, and will not have problems with larger impacts.
