Hyundai’s flying car could be a real thing by 2028

The evolution of the automobile industry brewed such thoughts as Hyundai’s flying car. Such an idea at this moment is mere fantasies as no fully functional car can fly. Now, we are getting information that Hyundai might have the key to unlocking the long-awaited flying car industry.

According to our findings, it should take us barely 6 years to see the first fully working flying car from Hyundai. We are not talking of a prototype, as a lot of other manufacturing companies have flaunted their prototypes of what a flying car should look like. Hyundai is putting its best minds to work to make this product a sure success.

Last year, the automobile manufacturing company launched a new subsidiary, Supernal. This new company is focusing its attention and energy on the “Advanced Air Mobility market” in a bid to make flying cars a reality. Already, the company seems to be seeing some success in its moves to launch a fully functional flying car.

During the Farnborough International Airshow, Supernal brought to the stage the cabin or interior concept of its eVTOL (Hyundai’s flying car). From the images made available by the press, the interior of this coming flying vehicle as shown by Supernal is undeniably futuristic. The total concept is the end product of the collaboration between Supernal and its parent company Hyundai.

Supernal says that certification of Hyundai’s flying car is already underway, and they expect this product to roam the skies by 2028. Before then, some other company might come through with their flying vehicle to rival Hyundai’s Supernal. We will keep an active tab on the growth of the flying vehicle industry to monitor its growth in the coming years.
