Information on Hyundai Motor’s official website also shows that E-WAYH2 was developed by Iveco. A company under Hyundai Motor Group provides a hydrogen fuel cell system. It is a hybrid bus that can be powered by hydrogen fuel cells and can also be charged.
E-WAY H2 is a 12-meter urban low-rise bus equipped with a 310kW motor, a 69kWh battery, a hydrogen fuel tank that can store 7.8 kilograms of hydrogen, and a cruising range of 450 kilometers under normal conditions.
Compared with rechargeable pure electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles currently account for a lower proportion, but they are increasingly used in the field of commercial vehicles, and Hyundai Motor has also made certain progress in this field. In addition to the E-WAY H2 bus jointly built with Iveco, Hyundai Motor also launched the XCIENT hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck, which can travel more than 400 kilometers after a single hydrogenation. It has been exported to Switzerland, Germany, etc.
