On the evening of July 27, Huawei held a HarmonyOS 3 and Huawei All Scene new product launch tonight, introducing a host of new products. These include the large Huawei Wisdom Screen S86 Pro, a Hongmeng Wisdom Screen with the latest HarmonyOS 3 features.
The Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro is designed with 2.7mm ultra-narrow metal bezel, with a visual effect close to no edge and a brushed aluminum frame. Huawei also has a magnetic AI camera for it with 12 megapixels, 101-degree ultra-wide angle, and support for physical switch on and off as you go.
Huawei has added AG anti-glare technology to this large smart screen, which converts mirror reflection into diffuse reflection through AG material to reduce the interference of ambient light on the mirror reality. The new product has a Hongwan picture quality engine, which includes the Swift and Clear (MEMC) technology to improve the smoothness of motion pictures and the Cherry Light Colorful Display Technology – Master Edition to improve picture quality. In addition, this screen also supports 120Hz high brushing, which, officially, combined with the Swift and Clear (MEMC) technology, can dynamically interpolate low frame rate 24/30fps film sources on the network to 120 fps.
Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro supports HDR Vivid standard, and also has four healthy eye protection features, low blue light, no screen flicker, and also automatically adjusts brightness and dynamically adjusts the color temperature of the screen.
In terms of sound quality, Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro has two tweeters and four 10W full-range units, which can expand the width of the sound field through a virtual sound field and create a three-dimensional surround effect. In addition, Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro can be wirelessly networked with four Sound X to expand the 2.0 channel into a 5.1 distributed home theater. It is worth mentioning that the smart screen is directly connected to the smart speaker via WiFi 5G band, without going through the router.
The new generation of HarmonyOS 3 further exploits the distributed capabilities of Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro to bring the “Super Desktop” function, which brings smartphone applications to the Smart Screen and makes them available at the click of a button. The phone will be transformed into a touch remote control, replacing the physical remote control to help you control the smart screen.
In addition, Huawei brings a parallel vision to the Smart Screen. The Super Desktop makes software adaptations to smartphone applications, which can be displayed on the Smart Screen in a tablet-like manner for better results. Huawei’s Smart Screen S86 Pro also adds a Super Terminal portal with one-step direct access to manage your interactions and collaboration.
