The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) website shows that a Huawei 5G digital phone, model NOH-AN80, passed the MIIT telecom equipment network entry permit on October 18.
According to the Securities Times, Huawei responded by saying that the model number NOH-AN80 announced by the MIIT was actually the Mate 40 Pro because the product description had been changed and needed to be re-declared in accordance with MIIT requirements.
The Mate 40 Pro is a 5G phone to be launched by Huawei in October 2020, model NOH-AN00, with a 5nm Kirin 9000 series chip that integrates 15 billion + transistors.
The re-declared Mate 40 Pro comes with HarmonyOS operating system, dual SIM support and 5G-Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) technology, according to the network entry.
