A few days ago, a digital blogger broke the news that the Huawei P60 series will be unveiled in March-April next year and will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The leak also mentions that the P60 Ran is positioned as a 4G model and is still absent from 5G, but the P60 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship SoC, Snapdragon 8 Gen2, which will be released at the end of the year. The blogger says that the camera part of the engineered version of the P60 is not a big surprise, but you can expect new technology in the software.
Now, another render of the so-called P60 Pro has been revealed, and it looks familiar on the back, as it continues the dual-circle design of the P50, which also has three cameras on the rear, with two cameras contained in the circle above, one large and one small.
It’s worth noting that the new P50 series currently available on Huawei’s website has lost the Leica logo, although it doesn’t have its own XMAGE logo either. The P60 series will, unsurprisingly, be equipped with Huawei XMAGE images, making its debut on the P series.
It is understood that Huawei has constructed four technical bases: optical system, mechanical structure, imaging technology and image processing, forming a self-contained mobile imaging technology called XMAGE.
