Huawei P60 Pro specs revealed: equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chip and satellite communication

In line with previous years, Huawei is likely to launch its next-generation P-series flagship, the Huawei P60 series, in the first quarter of this year, and there have even been recent rumors that Huawei is expected to unveil the series at MWC at the end of February.

While no official details have been released so far, the buzz has been getting more intense as the expected launch draws nearer. The latest news is that a digital blogger has recently revealed further details of the P60 Pro’s configuration, following on from the rumors that have been circulating about the exterior of the device.

According to the latest information released by digital bloggers, and largely in line with previous revelations, the new Huawei P60 series will still be available in multiple versions, with the Huawei P60 Pro featuring a 6.6-inch 120Hz 2K BOE high-brush screen built by BOE with 3200*1440 resolution and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming support.

It is expected to be powered by the same Snapdragon 8+4G processor as the Mate50 series, with a 30MP selfie shooter on the front and a 50MP IMX888 main camera + 50MP super wide-angle + 64MP telephoto lens with variable aperture technology on the rear.

The device will also have a built-in battery of around 5000mAh, support for 100W wired + 50W wireless fast charging and also support for satellite messaging.

The front of the P60 Pro will continue to feature a central perforated display with extremely narrow bezels, according to previous reports. On the back, the rear camera module is a complete departure from the P50 series’ iconic double-ring shape, with a large gold ring main camera in the middle, which is very eye-catching and makes the camera very recognizable. There is also a lens at the top and bottom of the main camera and a flash at the top right, and the Xmage logo appears near the camera, making the image performance very promising.

It is expected that the new Huawei P60 series will be available at the end of February at MWC at the earliest.
