In the past few weeks, we have got to see some new players in the clamshell foldable market. Now, according to new reports, we should be expecting to see the launch of a new entry into the Huawei clamshell foldable line-up.
This entry will grace the stage during the Huawei Mate 50 series launch event. We can be sure of the arrival of a new clamshell folding device from Huawei because of its certification. The device’s key specifications appeared on TENAA ahead of its announcement.

The design of the coming Huawei P50 Pocket as seen from its certification is reminiscent of its predecessor. It comes with a similar camera cutout and build, but spots a dual colour scheme. This model still retains the secondary screen of the P50 Pocket.
For its specifications, this model will come with a 4260mAh battery which is larger than that on the original P50 Pocket. It’d also run HarmonyOS and lack 5G support. This device might launch on September 6, and we will receive full details on its specifications.
