The Huawei Nova 10 series has just landed on the global market. The Pro model, as well as the standard Nova 10, have been available in the Chinese market since July this year. Today, Huawei will be launching the Mate 50 series of flagship phones in China. The company has quietly unveiled a new Nova 10 series phone called the Nova 10z a few hours before the Mate 50 series launch. The Huawei Nova 10z has a 6.6-inch LCD panel with a centrally positioned punch-hole. It supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 399 ppi pixel density. The device runs on HarmonyOS 2.0. The power button located on its right edge doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.

The Nova 10z is powered by an octa-core processor and 8 GB of RAM. It comes with storage options, such as 128 GB and 256 GB. The device lacks support for external storage. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.

For selfies, it has a 16MP front camera. The back panel of the device has a 64MP main snapper with an f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The device offers other features, such as dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Lastly, it features an IP52-certified splash-resistant chassis.

Huawei Nova 10z price and availability

The Nova 10z comes in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for 1,699 Yuan ($245) and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage for 1,899 Yuan ($280). Both models will be available with a 100 Yuan discount on the first sale. The handset is now available for pre-order and its shipment is slated to start on September 26. The Nova 10z comes in Magic Night Black, Frost Silver, and Emerald Green colors.
