The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has given the Huawei Nova 10 series access to the internet. This coming Nova series will consist of two devices, a base model and a Pro model. Both devices will launch with 4G connectivity and some design changes.

Promotion images of these devices are already available and show off the celebrity ambassador. Currently, there are not many specifications and features of either device in the Nova 10 series. But we are aware that Huawei is planning on launching this device by the end of June 2022.

The only information on the Huawei Nova 10 series from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is its operating system. Both devices will run HarmonyOS Huawei’s in-house operating system. This isn’t strange, judging from the fact that the company is trying to switch over to HarmonyOS.

Huawei Nova 10 series

Chinese versions of last year’s Nova 9 series all ran HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box. We hope Huawei will start launching HarmonyOS devices outside China. The Nova 9 series uses a 4G processor, and so might its soon-to-launch successor.

Previously, revaluations through 3C certification gave us a glimpse into the charging speed of the Nova 10 devices. The Pro model will make use of Huawei’s 100W fast charge, while the base model will charge at 66W. This charging speed is similar to last year’s Nova series, therefore we will see a few similarities between the two devices.

At this time, the exact launch of these devices will take place in a few weeks. Pricing and full details on the specifications will be made known at launch. This device will retail only in China, but there might be a global SE version, just like the Nova 9 series.
