In June 2021, Huawei HarmonyOS 2 was officially released to the public. In July this year, HarmonyOS 3 was officially released, building on the success of the previous generation with comprehensive updates and optimizations.
Huawei said that HarmonyOS will focus on five scenarios in the fourth year of its launch, with eight innovative technologies as the base of Harmony, 30,000+ APIs as the bricks of Harmony, and full-link self-developed development kits as the tools of Harmony, to construct the world of Harmony together with global developers.
According to the data announced by Huawei Terminal BG CEO Yu Chengdong earlier today, the number of Huawei devices equipped with HarmonyOS has exceeded 320 million, an increase of 113% compared to the same period last year; the number of HarmonySmart products shipped exceeded 250 million, an increase of 212% compared to the same period last year.
