The Mate 50 doesn’t support 5G, so it’s a good idea to have a case to go with it. Now, a blogger has revealed the 5G case packaging for the Huawei Mate 50, named the “5G Communication Case” by Soyealink (Digital Source Technology), where the 5G red wording stands out on the back of the all-black case.

According to the blogger, the Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design Edition will also have a 5G case, and the 5G case will reportedly go on sale at the same time as the phone, at a price that should still be RMB 799 in reference to its predecessor, the P50 series.

Recently, Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro sets from Digital Source Technology have been put online in the telecom terminal product library, the models are Soyealink Mate 50 Pro set and Soyealink Mate 50 set respectively, and the page logo shows 5G.

According to the entry information, the 5G case weighs about 52g and is about 3.2mm thick, which is closer to a regular mobile phone case and does not affect the user’s normal usage experience after wearing it, and not only enables 5G eSIM services but also plays a certain protective role for the phone.

At the same time, after a special adaptation of the system, the eSIM network signals of the main card and the 5G case will be fused and displayed in the phone’s signal bar, without causing any disturbance to the signals of the two networks, which can be said to be very close to the native state.
