Huawei Mate 70 series phones are expected to compete directly with the Apple iPhone 16

According to foreign media GSMArena, Huawei has sold 30 million Mate 60 phones globally since August 2023 (in view of everyone’s feedback that the data here is questionable, it is being implemented).

The company plans to launch the Mate 70 series of phones in September this year, aiming to directly compete with Apple’s iPhone 16 series of phones in markets such as China.

As for the Mate 70, foreign media claim that the phone will be equipped with a 1-inch sensor and have “narrower, more uniform” bezels.

According to previous reports, two industry executives told Nikkei Asia in October last year that Huawei aims to ship 60 million to 70 million phones this year, and plans to “double” its shipments compared with 2023. Double”.

Huawei has also been increasing inventories of lenses, cameras, printed circuit boards and other parts since 2023 to meet targets, multiple supply chain managers and analysts said.
