Huawei Mate 50 / Pro Series 5G case details revealed

On September 6, Huawei announced the Huawei Mate 50 series of mobile phones, a total of Huawei Mate 50E, Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design four models, all only support 4G network, but can support 5G network through the 5G communication case.

According to blogger @digitalchat, the 5G module chip in the case is the same as its predecessor, the Ziguang Zhanrui UDX710, equipped with a 1.35GHz dual-core A55. 13.6mm-14.1mm thick and weighing 53g-58g, all priced at CNY 799.

The blogger also revealed three Huawei Mate50 series 5G cases, which should correspond to the Mate50 RS, Mate50 Pro and Mate50 respectively.

Previously, digital blogger @WangZiPepsi also revealed the 5G case box for the Huawei Mate 50 Pro, with the manufacturer Soyealink printed in the top right corner. The body of the case is solid black, with the rear camera module fully exposed and the corners of the phone protected. The blogger also says that the Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design Edition will also have a 5G case.

According to previous blogger @WangZiPepsi, Huawei’s Mate 50 / Pro series 5G communication cases will be available at the same time as the phones, i.e. 21 September, with one case for the Mate 50e and Mate 50, and one case for the Mate 50 Pro alone. In addition, the 5G communication case for the Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design Edition may come a little later.

On September 15, China Telecom’s terminal product library was stocked with the Mate 50 set, specifically the soyealink Mate 50 set. At the same time, the product with the model number soyealink Mate 50 Pro set was also added to the library. The information page shows that the product’s manufacturer name is Digital Source Technology Co.
