Camera specifications of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro have made their way to the internet ahead of its launch. On September 6 we will get to see the launch of the Mate 50 series alongside other products. Now, leaks are pointing out certain features of devices in this series, such as their camera abilities.
Digital Chat Station took to his Weibo page to share his findings on the Huawei Mate 50 Pro camera configurations. From the figures he gave regarding each of the four sensors, we can say that this camera system will pack a punch. The Mate 50 Pro will launch with a Quad camera setup housing a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, a 40MP colour lens, and a 64MP periscope camera.

These details might see some clarification during the launch of the Mate 50 series since it is a leak. But what we know regarding the Mate 50 series is that there will be a variable aperture on some devices in the series. This information came directly from Huawei through their Weibo page, with a video teasing how this system will function.
The variable aperture will help control how much light comes into the lens, hence producing the best result. We do not know if all devices in this series will make use of this system or if it’d be exclusive to the higher-end models.
