Huawei claims that this is its first entry-level commercial flash storage system, with 99.99% system reliability, 30% lower power consumption compared to similar products in the industry, and easy to use, “only 3 steps to complete the initial configuration”.
The OceanStor Dorado 2000 supports up to 8 controllers, 128-512 GB of system cache, FC and iSCSI protocols, front-end port types of 8/16/32 Gbps Fibre Channel and 1/10/25 Ethernet, back-end port type SAS 3.0, and up to 400 solid state drives. It can be managed using DeviceManager, UltraPath and DME IQ.

The company’s first entry-level commercial flash storage system, the OceanStor Dorado 2000, was launched in 2009.
Huawei has updated other product lines in the OceanStor business storage series, introducing the OceanStor 2200/2600 hybrid flash storage designed for small-volume scenarios in small and medium-sized enterprises, and the industry’s first entry-level Active-Active architecture backup storage, OceanProtect X3000 backup storage.
