Huawei officially announced that the number of devices upgraded to HarmonyOS 4 exceeded 100 million. The number of upgraded devices for HarmonyOS 4 reached 60 million on September 25, and 40 million new devices were added in just 35 days, with an average of 1.14 million devices added every day.
HarmonyOS 4 was officially released on August 4, adding a new feature “Live Window” to mobile phones/tablets and a “Crescent Window” to watches. Users can display application information in real time in the upper left corner of the screen and on the lock screen, and can switch between capsules and cards.
HarmonyOS 4 also improves some efficiency tools:
- Super transfer station supports more applications. Long press with two fingers to easily extract text and pictures and drag them into the transfer station.
- Super Desktop expands to more scenarios, not only supporting the flow of mobile games to the smart cockpit screen, but also supporting the flow of drone aerial footage to the smart cockpit.
- The presentation annotation function turns HUAWEI M-Pencil into a whiteboard pen in seconds, allowing you to highlight and annotate the shared content.
In addition, Xiaoyi voice assistant has upgraded its AI large model to support the generation of complex scenes, quick summaries, text creation, natural conversations, talking through pictures, picture secondary creation, casual note reminders, scenario-based service combinations, etc.
