Previously, sources said that the preferred model for Huawei and BAIC’s smart car selection project was named Xiangjie. This model is positioned as a high-end intelligent pure electric sedan and will be officially released at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. Although the news has not been officially confirmed, it can be judged from the holding of this meeting that the project is accelerating.
It is worth mentioning that BAIC Blue Valley previously announced that its subsidiary BAIC New Energy plans to relocate the high-end smart ecological factory construction project in Beijing to meet the company’s new product production planning requirements. According to the announcement, the construction site of this investment is the Yunxi area of Miyun District, Beijing, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 high-end new energy vehicles.
Previously, Luxeed, a smart car brand jointly created by Huawei and Seres, achieved good market performance. Subsequently, Luxeed, a smart car brand jointly created by Huawei and Chery, began to deploy in the high-end new energy market.
