Huawei Enjoy 50 launched with 6000mAh battery; specifications and price

The Huawei Enjoy 50 is the latest mid-range device from the Chinese tech giant that runs Harmony OS. We all know the challenges that Huawei’s smartphone business faces due to US sanctions. It is amazing to see the release of a new device with Huawei’s in-house operating system.

The price of this device is not on the high side, hence drawing more people to the Harmony ecosystem. The specifications this device offers are considerably good for its retail price. Let’s now take a look at the specifications of this new entry from Huawei.

Huawei Enjoy 50 specifications and features

Huawei Enjoy 50

A strong selling point of this device is its battery capacity. Not every device out there today comes with a massive, 6000mAh battery while retaining a sleek look. Huawei also offers impressive fast charge support on this device, which will help to get the battery to 100% in no time. One feature of this device which remains unknown is its exact processor. Information from the company doesn’t point to the exact Kirin processor on this device.

  • Screen: 6.75-inch LCD.
  • Processor: Kirin processor.
  • Storage: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB storage variants. All variants come with Huawei’s EROFTS file compression system.
  • Main Camera: Triple setup with a 13MP main camera, and a 2MP depth camera.
  • Front Camera: 8MP front-facing camera.
  • Battery: 6000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge.
  • Operating System: HarmonyOS without Google Play Services.
  • Biometrics: Side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Enjoy 50 supports Huawei Histen and SuperSound solutions, which enable a peak volume of 86dB. Coming with HarmonyOS means that this device will be devoid of any Google service. But the company makes up for this by incorporating Huawei mobile services (HMS) which makes up for the lack of Google services. Applications can be got from AppGallery, while core applications from Huawei also come pre-installed with this device.

Huawei Enjoy 50 price and availability

Huawei Enjoy 50

The Huawei Enjoy 50 is available in China and is already on pre-sale on Huawei’s official store. The variants of this device are 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. They retail at 1299 yuan (~$194), 1499 yuan (~$224), and 1699 yuan (~$254) respectively.

The available colours for the Enjoy 50 are; fritillary white, ice crystal blue, and magic night black. Other regions won’t be getting this device, instead, they will receive the Huawei Y70. This device has a little upgrade in camera and comes with EMUI 12 but without Google services.
