At the 2023 Shanghai International Automobile Exhibition, Hozon Automobile and Horizon signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. Hozon Automobile will build a high-level NOA intelligent assisted driving system based on the high-level intelligent driving dedicated chip Journey 5, and cooperate around BEV and other algorithm technologies. The system will be applied to a variety of models, and the first cooperative model will be mass-produced in 2024.

At the same time, based on the cooperation of the chip Journey 3, the two parties have expanded from the existing Neta U-II to more models of the Neta series. The new car Neta GT is equipped with the Journey 3 chip, which realizes the L2-level assisted driving function.

As the third-generation in-vehicle intelligent chip of the horizon, Journey 5 is equipped with a BPU Bayesian architecture based on the concept of software and hardware collaborative design, which has both performance and computing power, and can support the application deployment of intelligent driving algorithm models such as BEV. Horizon announced that the shipment volume of Journey 5 has exceeded 100,000 units, and it has obtained the mass production designation of nearly 20 models from 9 car companies. The Journey 5 chip is an in-vehicle smart chip built for high-level smart driving, supporting 128 TOPS computing power, 1531 FPS performance, 60ms low latency, and 30W low power consumption.

As of the end of March 2023, the cumulative delivery of Neta vehicles exceeded 270,000. , Neta GT has launched 4 models, with a pre-sale price range of 178,800 CNY to 226,800 CNY. The new car is positioned as a two-door four-seater electric sports car, with two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. It can accelerate from zero to zero in 3.7 seconds and has the longest battery life of 660 kilometers. It is expected to be delivered in the first half of this year.

The three-dimensional parameters of Neta GT’s length, width and height are 4715/1979/1415mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2770mm. Equipped with a large 17.6-inch vertical central control screen, the car has a built-in 8155 chip, and the CPU computing power reaches 105K DMIPS. The camera can support 17 smart driving assistance functions.

The Neta GT single-motor rear-drive model has a maximum power of 170kW and a peak torque of 310N·m, and provides two versions with a cruising range of 560km and 660km; the system power of the dual-motor four-wheel drive model is 340kW, the system torque is 620N·m, and the pure electric cruising range is 580km.
