Honor finally launched its all-new Honor X8 5G smartphone. As the name tells, the Honor X8 5G is the 5G variant of the original Honor X8 which was introduced earlier this year. It offers quite good specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset and a triple rear camera setup.
Honor X8 5G specifications and features
The Honor X8 5G offers a 6.5-inches IPS LCD panel with HD+ 720*1600 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It will boot up on MagicUI 4.2 based on Android 11 out of the box.
As for the photography and videography, it has got a basic triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixels f/1.8 primary camera coupled with a secondary depth and tertiary macro sensor. An 8-megapixels f/2.0 front selfie snapper is housed in a waterdrop notch cutout. It has a 5000mAh battery with the support for 22.5W fast wired charging.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS location tracking, and a USB Type-C port. It measures the dimension of 163.66×75.13×8.68mm and weighs 194 grams in hand. The device comes with face unlock support for the security of the device.

We are yet to get pricing and variant information regarding the Honor X8 5G. However, a variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage has been confirmed. The devices come in two different colour variants; Midnight black and ocean blue.
