Honor has officially confirmed that they will launch the Honor X40 series of smartphones in mainland China on September 16th, 2022. The brand has also shared some teaser image which partially reveals the device’s front look. Now, before any official announcement, a new report has started emerging online which leaks the renders and some display specifications of the upcoming Honor X40 smartphone.
Honor X40 Renders Suggest Curved Display
The official teaser shared by the brand on Weibo has confirmed the presence of a curved display panel on the Honor X40 device. Moreover, the image confirms that the device will have a centre-aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera and it may have an IR sensor right next to the top microphone.
Adding further, known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has leaked the complete design of the Honor X40 smartphone. The renders shared by him confirm a large camera ring on the rear panel which housed two big camera lenses and an LED light. The volume controller buttons and the power on/off switch have been placed on the right-hand side of the device.

The tipster has further said that the device might feature a 6.8-inches flexible curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 800 nits and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display will further offer high-frequency dimming support. As of now, we have no official information regarding the specifications of the device.
