Honor X40 comes in two colorways called Amber Starlight and is available for pre-order tonight

On October 24 – In September this year, Honor launched the Honor X40, a “nine-year milestone in the X series of phones”, starting at $1,499. The Honor X40 is the first OLED hardcore curved screen model in its class, with a Snapdragon 695 chip, a full moon ring design, and a 5100mAh battery.

Today, Honor announced the launch of a new autumn/winter colorway for the Honor X40 – Amber Starlight! The new model will be available for pre-order today at 20:00, starting at RMB 1,499 for the 6+128GB version and going on sale on November 1.

The Honor X40 features a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 OLED centered single-hole curved display with 120Hz refresh rate, 0.65mm secondary reinforced glass, 1 billion color display, 800nit global stimulated brightness, 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, TUV Rheinland hardware-grade low blue light eye protection, as well as off-screen display and under-screen fingerprint support.

The new device measures 161.6 mm in length, 73.9 mm in width, and 7.9 mm in thickness and weighs approximately 172 grams (including the battery).

The X40 is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 processor, an 8-megapixel camera on the front, support for portrait mode, time-lapse photography, smiley face capture, selfie mirror, voice-activated photography, timed photography and gesture photography, a 50-megapixel camera + 2-megapixel camera on the rear, a 5100 mAh battery and support for 40W super-fast charging, which officially provides a two-day charging experience. The X40 has a 50-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel camera at the back.

The Honor X40 also has up to 12GB + 7GB of smart memory expansion, bringing the equivalent of 19GB of memory experience, anti-aging test is still very smooth after 36 months of use.

The X40 is priced at RMB1,499 for the 6GB+128GB version, RMB1,699 for the 8GB+128GB version, RMB 1,999 for the 8GB+256GB version and RMB2,299 for the 12GB+256GB version.
