There has been information about the Honor Tablet 8 now we are certain of its launch date. We also have a glimpse of what this tablet will look like in terms of design. A few weeks back we saw this tablet pass the 3C certification, let’s now take a look at what we are to expect.
In terms of its specifications, available information reveals the basics. These include its screen size, its processor, and charging speed. Its screen will be a 12-inch display, of which we aren’t certain of its type (whether LCD or AMOLED).

In a previous article, we assumed that this tablet’s screen size might be under the 11-inch range. Well, it turns out that Honor is thinking bigger. With a 12-inch screen, this tablet will be a productivity machine for prospective buyers. Certainly, Honor will include a Bluetooth keyboard, as it did with the Honor Tablet V7 from last year.
The processor on this tablet is the Snapdragon 680 SoC, which is a 4G processor. The charging speed of this device will be a 22.5W fast charge. We do not know the battery capacity of the coming Honor Tablet 8.
From our sources, we can see the design of this tablet in the hands of a user. This design reveal comes in a video that shows off the Tablet 8 in all its glory. From the video, we can see the sleek nature of the tablet. We can also note that this
tablet might also come with a dual rear camera setup similar to its previous model. Another similarity to the Honor Tablet V7 Pro will be the narrow bezels on the screen, as revealed by our sources.
This device will launch on July 21 and might come along with other Honor products. Its launch will reveal more details on the specifications of this tablet. The theme of this launch event will be “Enjoy smart life with Honor,” so we can as well expect some smart home products during the launch.
