Alongside the Honor X8, the brand has also launched its new Honor Pad 8 tablet. It’s a budget-oriented tablet offering features like an IPS LCD panel and Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. Let’s have a closer look at the specifications and features of the device.
Honor Pad 8 specifications and features
The Honor Pad 8 flaunts a 12-inch IPS LCD pane with 2000*1200 pixel resolution, uniform bezels across the screen and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of DDR4X RAM and 120GB of onboard storage. It will boot up on company’s own MagicUI based on Android, right out of the box.
As for cameras, we have single 5-megapixels rear camera and single 5-megapixels front facing camera for video calls and meets. It has 7250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast wired charging. The MagicUI brings split screen support for over 6,000 apps. There are also widgets, floating windows, and the capability to link the tablet to select Honor smartphones. It has thickness of 6.9mm and weighs just 520gms.

Honor Pad 8 pricing and availability
The Honor Pad 8 will be available in White, Blue and Mint Green colour variants. The base variant of the device starts from CNY1,499 (~$220), the brand is offering early bird discount using which one can get it for CNY1,399 (~$207).
