This is the company’s second foldable device, and it brings many improvements over the previous generation’s foldable smartphone. Some of these improvements include a reduction in the thickness of the device, performance upgrades, a bigger battery capacity, a new folding mechanism, and so much more.

This new foldable device from Honor comes with a new hinge which lacks any gears, hence reducing the device’s weight and improving its battery capacity. Also, it has the largest battery capacity of any foldable device, reaching 5000mAh all thanks to the free space made available by the new hinge mechanism. The gearless hinge on the Honor Magic Vs firmly transforms it from a 6.45-inch device (folded) to a 7.9-inch device (unfolded). Honor says that the two OLED screens on this device while being strong also offer eye protection better colour display and HDR10+ certification. So, enough of the folding mechanism and screens and over to the actual performance, this device uses the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM.
This combination will offer great performance to power users and regular users alike, and it will also help boost the photography ability of this foldable smartphone. For its camera abilities, this device comes with a triple rear camera setup housing a 54MP main lens, a 50MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto lens. On the front of each screen (internal and external), there is a 16MP camera for taking crisp clear selfie pictures.
The Honor Magic Vs runs on Android 12 with some additional customization and features from the Honor MagicOS 7.0. As for its charging capacity, this foldable device will charge its massive, 5000mAh battery at a speed of 66W with the Honor SuperCharge charger. This new foldable device from Honor is available for pre-order and comes in three colours Azure, Burning Orange, and Bright Black. There is also a Prestigious edition that comes in a Phoenix Feather Gold finish and reaches up to 16GB worth of RAM.
