Honor Magic V, Magic3 Honor V40 series has opened MagicOS7.0 public test activities on December 23, you can sign up through the Honor Club App.
According to the introduction, the public beta version is a test version released to the public during the development stage, aiming to let active users try out the new features and provide feedback, help R&D engineers find and fix software problems, improve the quality, usability and ease of use of the version, and jointly improve the version to reach the official release standard.
Please note that since the public beta version is still in the development stage, its operation may not be as ideal as the official commercial version, such as some applications (including three-party applications) may be unstable or incompatible, which may affect your user experience. Therefore, please consider carefully whether to try it in advance. Meanwhile, considering the user experience and compatibility issues, public test activities may be suspended for a period of time.
If you have already upgraded your phone to MagicOS 7.0, you do not need to participate in the public beta campaign.

Note: Check the version number: Settings->System->About Phone, if the current version number is not on the baseline, please upgrade to this version online before participating in public beta activities. (Refer to the upgrade method: Settings -> System and Update -> Software Update)
Precautions
- Precautions before upgrading (please read carefully):
(1) Before upgrading the public beta version, please back up important data on your mobile phone, and confirm that the backup content is complete and valid, to avoid data incompatibility after the upgrade or other accidents that may cause data loss.
(2) Before upgrading the public beta version, please ensure that the current version of your mobile phone is on the baseline version (see 2. Compatible models for details).
(3) It is recommended to reserve 10GB of internal storage space on the mobile phone to avoid possible upgrades due to insufficient space. (View storage method: Settings -> Storage).
(4) Please make sure your phone is not ROOT.
Public beta activity plan and registration entrance

- Instructions for registration of public beta activities
(1) Public beta registration only supports the registration of compatible models on the “Glory Club” APP on the mobile terminal, and does not support computer registration. Before registering, please make sure that the Honor Club App is the latest version (you can enter the application market to upgrade the “Glory Club” APP to the latest version or upgrade it through “Glory Club APP -> My -> Check for Updates”).
(2) Please upgrade to the baseline version first (see “2. Adapted models” above), then download and install the public beta description file, and then enter “Settings -> System and Update -> Software Update -> Check for Updates” Upgrade the public beta version (please go to the registration portal to download the public beta description file).
(3) After the public beta description file reaches the validity period (usually after the public beta activity ends), the system will prompt the user and automatically delete the public beta description file.
