Honor will release a new phone in India after a long absence. The official X account of HONOR Tech posted a post a few days ago, announcing that it will bring new news to the Indian market. Then Madhav Sheth, the former CEO of Realme India, reposted this post, confirming that he will join Honor.
In the latest X post, Madhav Sheth announced that “new Honor smartphones are coming soon in India,” confirming Honor’s return to the Indian smartphone market.
It is learned that Honor’s new products in the Indian market will stay in 2020, and no new mobile phones have been released in the country since then. Although Honor has not officially announced its withdrawal from the Indian market, in fact, it has not expanded vigorously.
Indian digital blogger Technical Guruji, who has 23 million followers on YouTube, has claimed that Honor may launch the Honor 90 smartphone in India in September, though he did not reveal a specific launch date.

The Honor 90 phone has been launched in many markets around the world before. The phone adopts a brand-new mirror moon design, weighs 183g, and has a thickness of 7.8mm; it is equipped with a 6.7-inch 3840Hz ultra-high frequency dimming four-curved screen, supports 1600nit peak P3, 1.07 billion color depth, 120Hz refresh rate, passed TÜV Rheinland’s flicker-free certification; equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen1 (enhanced version) chip, built-in 5000mAh battery, and supports 66W fast charging.
In terms of taking pictures, the Honor 90 is equipped with a 200-megapixel outsole main camera (f/1.9), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens, and a 50-megapixel portrait lens on the front. It is reported that its selling price in India is expected to be less than 30,000 rupees.
