Honor announces return to India with PSAV Global Partnership

The new smartphone will be released in India in January, and the device will be locally manufactured in India.

Honor announced with PSAV Global reached cooperation (Honor before the Indian business is also maintained by PSAV Global is responsible) and formally returned to the Indian market, this strategy is expected to help the company quickly expand its market share in India.

PSAV Global, a homegrown Indian company with a network of 5,000 retailers and distributors across more than 100 cities, will provide marketing, service and distribution channels for Honor.

The Pride India team, headed by Madhav Sheth as CEO, will take care of bigger issues such as corporate strategy, overseeing product launches, finance and customer relations, among others.

The industry expects PSAV Global to continue to act as the official distributor for Honor to conquer the Indian market for the brand, and the next model expected to be launched first in the Indian market will be the Honor 90 series.

Honor promises its customers “advanced, reliable and self-centred solutions and experiences”. This partnership is in line with the Indian government’s push for “technological self-sufficiency” and will be a major milestone in that direction.
