The Hongqi EH7 battery-swappable pure electric sedan has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and is equipped with a 253kW single motor. The Hongqi EH7 launch conference will be held in Shenzhen on March 20.

The new car product model is CA7001H0SEVA, with a length of 4980mm, a width of 1915mm, a height of 1490mm, a wheelbase of 3000mm, and a curb weight of 2233kg. It is equipped with 245/50 R18 tires.

Declaration information shows that the Hongqi EH7 battery swap version uses lithium iron phosphate batteries from FAW Fudi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and the motor is produced by FAW, with a maximum power of 253kW.

In addition, this model supports optional red brake calipers, dual-color bodywork, on-board ETC devices, and provides a variety of rim options.
The dual-motor non-battery version of the Hongqi EH7 has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and is equipped with CATL ternary lithium batteries and 455kW dual motors.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models with Vehicle Purchase Tax Exemptions (Third Batch)”, the non-replacement version of Hongqi EH7’s ternary lithium battery has a capacity of 85kWh and has a CTLC endurance of 640-720km depending on the model configuration.
It is still unclear about the specific capacity of the lithium iron phosphate battery of the Hongqi EH7 battery swap version.

During the warm-up, officials stated that the new car is the first pure electric sedan based on the FMEs platform architecture, equipped with a 6-inch instrument, a 15.5-inch curved screen, and an AR-HUD head-up display system. In addition, the new car is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and will also be equipped with HAP precision automatic driving assistance system.
