Almost a month after we saw pre-sales commence for GAC Honda Fit Unlimited MUGEN Edition, the new car will now be officially launched. A May 26 report mentions June 6 at the date for its launch. Based on the Fit GR9, the car is refitted by the Honda Royal Refit Factory Infinite MUGEN. The appearance of the car is radically different than the fourth-generation Fit.
Honda Fit Unlimited MUGEN Edition: Appearance
The car carries a sporty feel to itself. It features side skirts, rear bumper kit, blackened sports rims and a more sporty front bumper. The car also has a new customized front grille. Each Fit Unlimited MUGEN Edition would flaunt an exclusive serial nameplate.
While the car carries a rather snazzy exterior look, the interiors are no different than the regular version car, except for change of a few details. Apart for the different vehicle number, a sign displays the words Unlimited MUGEN. The centre console looks relatively simple with the thrust on functional operation and comes installed with a 7-inch LCD screen. Many functions like the air-conditioning are still controlled by physical buttons. The car has a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel.
Honda Fit Unlimited MUGEN Edition: Other specifications
This new car continues to carry a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine that maximally yields a power of 96 kilowatts. The car would have a peak torque of 155 Nm. The vehicle is matched with a CVT gearbox.
GAC Honda Fit Unlimited MUGEN Edition would launch with a pre-sale price of 97,000 yuan. Chaorun Pro Sports and Chaoyue Max Cross Border Cross Version are two more cars in addition to this Unlimited version manufactured as the fourth-generation Honda Fit. These two sell in the price range of 81,000 to 108,800 yuan.
