Honda recently announced that the second model launched by its e:NS brand, e:NS2, will be officially released at the Guangzhou Auto Show, which will open on November 17.
Prior to this, Honda China had brought a number of new pure electric models of the e:N brand during the Shanghai Auto Show in the first half of this year, including the e:NP2 and e:NS2 prototypes (Prototype). The two new cars are expected to be half-sister models of each other and will be officially launched next year, respectively launched by Guangqi Honda and Dongfeng Honda.

According to reports, the e:NS2 Prototype is developed with a “new genre EV” as its development goal, integrating the “full functionality” of an SUV and the “comfort” of a sedan. It will also adopt intelligent technologies such as the new generation HONDA CONNECT 4.0. Officials have previously stated that this “prototype car” is very close to the design of the final production version.
According to previous reports, Dongfeng Honda announced at its 20th anniversary theme event in July this year that it is expected that by 2027, Dongfeng Honda will no longer launch new fuel vehicles, and will launch more than 10 pure electric models by 2030; relying on e:NS , e:HEV / e:PHEV strong electric smart hybrid and a product matrix of new self-branded models to comprehensively build the Dongfeng Honda brand. At the same time, all Dongfeng Honda models will be equipped with the latest Honda SENSING, Honda CONNECT and other intelligent technologies.
