HiPhi Y Interior revealed, its global launch on July 15

A few days ago, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment announced that it had signed a $5.6 billion (currently about RMB 40.4 billion) agreement with Chinese electric car maker Chinese Express to cooperate in the development, manufacture and sale of electric cars.

HiPhi Y has now released interior images of its third model, the HiPhi Y, and announced that the new car will be launched globally on July 15. According to the news and leaks, the 560km range version of the HiPhi Y is expected to start at 369,000 RMB, and the show car is scheduled to arrive at HiPhi’s nationwide experience stores in early July.

The HiPhi Y is an all-electric mid-size SUV with a signature wing door design and a CLTC with a combined range of over 800km.

As seen in the picture, the new car features a 17-inch OLED center display, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument screen and a 15-inch HD passenger screen, as well as a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel with a two-color design.

The HiPhi Y is 4938/1958/1658 mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2950 mm. It has a luxurious five-seat space and a rear double-folding desk option to meet users’ multi-scene office and entertainment needs.

In other aspects, HiPhi Y is more inclined to conventional exterior design than its predecessors, with the front and rear of the car adopting a through-lighting design, and equipped with the second generation NT intelligent wing doors, which have an ultra-low wind resistance coefficient of 0.24.

The HiPhi Y is available in different drive versions for customers to choose from, including a dual-motor 4WD version with a maximum power of 371kW and a 4.7-second acceleration time to 100km. In addition, HiPhi Y adopts rear-wheel steering, and the long-range version is equipped with a 115kWh battery and has a CLTC range of 810km; the ordinary version is equipped with a 76.6kWh battery and 247kW drive motor, and is expected to provide 560km and 765km range versions.
