The patent application shows that in a distributed scenario, there are more and more collaborative applications between devices, and hardware mutual assistance and file sharing between devices are becoming more frequent. For security reasons, when device A (e.g. a computer) and device B (e.g. a mobile phone) are collaborating on multiple screens, once device B enters the lock screen state, the user needs to perform unlocking operations on device B. The current method of unlocking is inefficient and inconvenient for the user. Currently, this unlocking method is not efficient and user-friendly.
The patent abstract shows that the present application provides a method for unlocking an electronic device and related equipment, applied to a first electronic device. The present application can unlock the first electronic device on a second electronic device, ensuring the security and convenience of unlocking.
The method includes:
- receiving an operation message from the second electronic device.
- sending the first message to the second electronic device when it is determined on the basis of the operation information that the unlocked object of the first electronic device is to be unlocked, the first message being used by the second electronic device to collect the authentication information required to unlock the unlocked object
- obtaining authentication information from the second electronic device for user authentication
- unlocking the unlocked object of the first electronic device when the user authentication is passed.
