Gu Yukun, executive deputy general manager of the tank brand of Great Wall Motors, showed on Weibo that the Tank 700 Hi4-T model will officially start pre-sale today. According to Gu Yukun’s previously deleted Weibo message, the model price is expected to be in the range of 500,000-550,000 RMB.
During the Guangzhou Auto Show last year, the car was launched as a “first edition” model and started pre-sale. It was limited to 70 units and had a pre-sale price of 700,000 RMB. All of them have been sold out. Subsequently, the vehicle made its debut in the “Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products” released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in December.

Tank 700 Hi4-T will be equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 3.0T V6 engine and a P2 motor. The power performance is said to be equivalent to a V8 engine, which can achieve stable, strong and continuous power output in all scenarios. After the car is equipped with a P2 motor, the comprehensive power reaches 385kW and the torque is as high as 850N·m.
