Gurman: Apple watchOS 10 user interface will see significant changes

In the latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that the next major release of watchOS (tentatively called watchOS 10) will feature significant upgrades, particularly to the user interface.

Since the design of watchOS hasn’t changed much in recent years, and new releases over the past few years seem to have only iterated on tracking features and dials, Gurman believes this year will be different, which is no doubt exciting news for Apple Watch users.

I believe the new watchOS will be a fairly substantial upgrade, and the user interface has changed significantly, unlike iOS 17. considering the modest Apple Watch hardware updates, I believe watchOS will be a very important annual update.

Gurman previously said that iOS 17 will have some nice features. major updates to Apple Watch hardware are expected next year, such as the first Apple Watch with a micro-LED display.

Not surprisingly, watchOS 10 will be officially unveiled at WWDC 2023 in June. Apple has announced that the WWDC developer conference will open on June 5.
